In the sound recording, I wanted to put the listener in my own shoes, walking through the suburbs, getting lost in thought. I tried to do this by recording as many sounds as I could to immerse the listener, from the background and also little movements that we ignore like the sound of my pants. I tried to implement as much foley as I could, but due to some technical issues I couldn’t alter the sounds in the way I had doped, so I had to discard them or they would have made an enormous incomprehensible pile of garbage. So now I present you my enormous pile of garbage.
I also tried to make sure any noise flowed together as I recorded the sounds in a few didferent locations.
I think the car noises might have dorowned out some of these more subtle sounds though.
